SPEC ONE PREMIUM PRODUCT — spec it, don't price it (chapter 3)

A premium is a PRODUCT decision, not a price one: an offer whose
VALUE to a specific buyer climbs far faster than its cost to make.
Answer the business question first (it is never the garment):

What business am I REALLY in (what the buyer buys):
    ________________________________________________________
The buyer for this — my MOST committed slice:
    ________________________________________________________

Then the ritual dictates the engineering. Fill the three levers —
one alone is not enough:

PRODUCT — the real, feel-it upgrade (the specs the job demands):
    ________________________________________________________
BRAND — name / label / packaging / one world:
    ________________________________________________________
EXPERIENCE — the delivered sequence + the transformation I sell
   (never the spec sheet):
    ________________________________________________________

Why a buyer pays MORE (the DIFFERENCE they can feel, not markup):
    ________________________________________________________

⚠ THE TEST: if the honest answer to the last line is "because I
charged more," tear it up — that is a markup, not a premium. Name a
difference the buyer can SEE and FEEL and a transformation they want
to belong to. It is an ADDITION at the top, not a replacement.
